Bloom-Vernon Local Schools

Good evening, Jeep Nation. As many of you know, our Superintendent, Mr. Marc Kreischer, passed away yesterday. We truly appreciate the outpouring of support from our local schools, organizations, and people who knew Mr. Kreischer. We have the arrangements for Mr. Kreischer and would like to share them with you all.

Mr. Kreischer's visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., with services to follow at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 22nd, in our high school gymnasium. We invite those who knew Mr. Kreischer to join us in celebrating his life at that time. We know that he had a profound impact on many, both inside and outside our community.

The HS Boys vs. Valley game, scheduled for tomorrow evening, February 17th, has been postponed. When we have a rescheduled date, we will let everyone know.

Again, thank you to everyone for their support, their outpouring of love, and prayers. They are much appreciated. It truly takes a village.

Bloom-Vernon Local Schools will be closed for students on Monday, February 16th, 2026. Staff will report to their respective building at 9 a.m. More news to be released tomorrow.

Disregard our previous post. With the downgrade of the snow level emergency to Level 1, the GAMES ARE BACK ON! LET'S GO JEEPS!!! JV tip-off vs. Notre Dame will be at 5 p.m., with rolling starts to the Lady Jeeps and Varsity Boys.

The Triple-header vs. Notre Dame has been cancelled for this evening with no makeup date at this time (2/7/26).

From Mr. Havens:

JV/V Boys vs Valley has been postponed and will now be played on Feb 17th.

JH tournament will be cancelled for tomorrow.

We will be working on the new brackets for Mr. Havens and will send them out when we finish. As of right now, the games vs. Notre Dame are on for tomorrow evening. Stay safe, Jeep Nation!

The Jeep Travelers Crumbl Cookie fundraiser order pickup will now be Saturday, February 7th. Orders can still be picked up from Mrs. Garinger in her classroom starting @5 PM and going until 7PM.
