Shout out to our Jr. High Quiz Bowl team and their advisor Mr. Sheets. They represented us well at the county tournament just missing out on the championship round. Great job everyone!
Our elementary students were treated to a concert by Pamyua. Pamyua was formed in April 1995 by brothers Phillip and Stephen Blanchett. The brothers stumbled upon a musical concept to blend Inuit drum/dance melodies with R&B vocal styling and arrangements. You can learn more at their website: http://www.pamyua.com/
We would like to thank the band for coming and teaching our students about another culture, Arts Midwest and World Fest, The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts, Shawnee State University and for Neal Hatcher for housing the artists this week.
Our pep bus will arrive back at the school around 9:30 p.m.
It wasnt the result we wanted but our Lady Jeeps played a close and tough match and fell to Meadowbrook. We want to congratulate all our fall sports athletes on a great season which saw a XC runner make it to regionals, our soccer team make it to district and our volleyball team make it to regionals and the sweet 16. You have all made Jeep Nation proud. We are especially proud of our senior leaders and wish them well on their future endeavors. We can't wait to see what's next...GO JEEPS!

In support of the volleyball team and their game on Thursday, we ask that students wear red, black or white for a Jeep Day. Also, a reminder there will be an early dismissal and no evening AE on Thursday as well. Have a great day...GO JEEPS!
Congratulations to Coach Claxon and the South Webster Jeeps Volleyball team on their district championship. The girls will travel to Logan High School to take on Byesville Meadowbrook at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 3. To allow everyone the opportunity to travel to the game, Bloom-Vernon Local will dismiss school 1-hour early on Thursday. The high school will be dismissed at 1:33 and the elementary at approximately 2:17.
There will also be no evening AE on Thursday due to the early dismissal.

South Webster High School students joined 1,000 other students at the Department of Energy’s PORTS plant for this year’s Science Alliance. Students enjoyed a day of hands-on learning at one of the largest high schools science events in southern Ohio. In addition to STEM activities, students also had the chance to meet with college representatives from more than a dozen universities.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be tomorrow 2 p.m.-8 p.m. There will be no school for students tomorrow, Oct. 27th or Friday, 28th.
There will be a beginning band parent meeting in Mr. Davis' room starting at 5:30 p.m. during conferences. If potential band parents cannot make the meeting. Information has been sent home and questions can be sent to Mr. Donini or Mr. Davis.
The silent auction will run until tomorrow, Oct. 27th, ending at 7 p.m. Winners will be contacted shortly after.
