Good morning Jeep Nation. Some updates and reminders this morning!
Yesterday we ran a story that one of our seniors, Lakin Brown, won a Horatio Alger scholarship. Here is some more info on that passed onto us by one of our community members/teacher Sandi Dutiel:
As an award recipient, Lakin will receive:
a $25,000 college scholarship (to be used in the pursuit of a bachelor's degree), An all-expenses-paid trip to the 2019 Horatio Alger National Scholars Conference in Washington, D.C. (April 3 to April 7, 2019), access to the full range of Association service a full formal ballgown and limo service to the gala which has been hosted by Tom Selleck in the past.
Again, Lakin, congrats. You make all of Jeep Nation proud!
Our boys lost a thriller last night to Wheelersburg 70-62 last night. Amazing game. Keep your heads up boys! Our Lady Jeeps travel to Valley tomorrow. Our homecoming game will be played vs. Waverly on Friday. Info on the dance is below.
The homecoming dance will start after the game on Friday and will last until midnight. Tickets are $5.00 for a single and $8.00 for a couple. If you are bringing a guest from another school, an administrator must sign off on that student. Those forms are in the office and are due by the end of business on TODAY. No faxed forms are accepted.
