Good morning Jeep Nation and happy Monday. We hope you had a great weekend and maybe even enjoyed the big game. Here is the news for today, we will have more tomorrow as the tech team ventures out in the district:
Boys basketball-Tuesday at Green and Friday vs. Oak Hill (Senior Night)
Girls basketball-Tonight (Monday) at Clay and at Northwest on Wednesday
The girls also play in the Sectional Championship game on 2/15 against Eastern Meigs at Meigs High School. That contest begins at 8:00 p.m. Directions to the game can be found here. (From the high school.)
The College Credit Plus meeting will be held Wednesday, February 7th at 6 p.m. in the group teaching room. Any student grades 7-11 interested in earning college credit while taking classes here at SWHS should come to this informational meeting.
We have three events happening on Saturday:
Select Sound will be hosting the pancake breakfast on Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. and ending at 12:00 p.m.
The Jeep Love 5K will be held on Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m. The entry form can be found here: http://5il.co/2ps3
Our Screaming Jeep Pep Band will be heading to Rio Grande on Saturday to be the pep band for the Rio Grande Red Storm. Girls game starts at 1 p.m. and the boys start at 3 p.m. Note: This is a college game and not our teams playing, the band is playing for the Red Storm!
