Good morning Jeep Nation we are back! Happy Monday to all of you. We hope that you had a great weekend. This week is a short week.
There will be a two hour early dismissal next Wednesday. Each building will dismiss two hours earlier than their normal dismissal time. We start our Christmas break on Thursday and classes resume Wednesday, January 3rd.
Our Lady Jeep and boys won on Saturday. The Lady Jeeps took down Portsmouth and the boys took down Notre Dame.
The Lady Jeeps play Minford at home tonight and play at Wheelersburg on Thursday. Minford is currently 1st in the SOC and this is a big game for them!
Our boys play Northwest at home on Tuesday and play at Oak Hill on Friday.
@SWHSVILLAGE We are sure you are ready to cheer our Lady Jeeps and Jeeps on to victory this week. They are asking for a red out for tonight's Minford game. We're sure Jeep Nation can accommodate that.
Pre-sale tickets for both games are available for students for tonight and tomorrow. Jr. High and High School students need to see Mr. Sullivan. Elementary students need to see an athletic booster. Tickets are only $3.00.
Select Sound will be making their annual Christmas trip on today. It should be a good day of caroling for those students.
Christmas parties for the elementary will be tomorrow (Tuesday)
The band will be live streaming the results of their Christmas raffle. Expect that around 2:20 p.m. Winners will be contacted by Wednesday.
We have some news from Mrs. Kate Claxon:
On Saturday December 23rd we will be hosting a Jingle Bell Jog 5K to raise money for our Haitian adoption. The cost to pre-register is $20 with a guaranteed shirt, Day-of registration is $25 but a shirt is not guaranteed. The race will be held at the elementary school and will begin at 9:00am. We are currently finishing our dossier and within the next two months we will be on a waiting list to be matched with our future son or daughter. We feel so blessed to have made it this far in our adoption, and it wouldn't have been possible without the financial and spiritual assistance of our community.
