November 10th Wrap-up

Good morning Jeep Nation and happy Friday. We have a bit of news for all of you! Let's get started.

Our Veterans Day assembly will begin at 9:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided for our Veterans in attendance as well as their guests. We would like to thank all of our veterans and all of of current armed services members for protecting our country and preserving our freedoms.

Mrs. Haines sent us some news as well:

For Seniors and Senior Parents:

December 1 is a key deadline for many colleges, including Shawnee State, Rio Grande, Miami, and others. This includes being a priority deadline for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at those colleges. If you haven't started the FAFSA and have questions, please let Mrs. McCoy or a Journey to College teacher--Mrs. Haines, Mrs. Howe, and Mr. Whitt--know. We'll help or find the resources to help!

Mrs. Claxon sent us a very interesting opportunity for our students as well. She is planning a trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the summer of 2019. She will be coordinating the trip with Mrs. Haines. There will be fundraising opportunities available.

Thank you Mrs. Claxon! On a personal note going out of the country can be a rewarding and enriching experience. Any student who can take this trip should.

Thanks all we have for now Jeep Nation. We will see you next Tuesday for our update. We apologize for that inconvenience, but the All-County Music Festival planning meeting is on Monday. Have a great day and an amazing weekend and as always...GO JEEPS!
