Attention class of 2020 seniors, parents and the South Webster community! As most of you know this Sunday, May 17, was supposed to be graduation. We have postponed graduation till July but we wanted to do something for our seniors the weekend that graduation was supposed to occur. This is not ideal, this is not what we would all like to do but we are going to do what Webster does best and make something good out of a bad situation. The plan is we are going to have a parade of seniors. Seniors we ask you to be with your family in a car. Wear your cap and gown! We ask you to line up behind the high school facing the track just like you would for Grand March. (Please DO NOT leave your car!) We ask that you do this by 4:50 pm on Saturday, May 16. At 5 o’clock Deputy Walker, our Webster fire department and our Vernon fire department will lead the senior parade throughout the district. Seniors, make sure your cars are full of gas because we will be going through the entire district to allow our community members to cheer you on! Also seniors feel free to decorate your cars.
Community members we ask you to decorate signs and be out by the road at your house to cheer on our seniors and wish them well. (Please practice social distancing) If we are not going directly by your house try to walk to an area we will be passing or get in a car and go to a parking lot of where we will be passing. I have attached the route the seniors will be taking as well as a map. Come on Jeep Nation! Let’s give our graduating class of 2020 something to celebrate and let them know we love them and are proud of them! Go Jeeps!!!
