Mid-Week Musing, April 20th

Good morning Jeep Nation! Happy Thursday and we all hope that your week is going well. We have some news and a continuing part of a story we are covering as Mr. Baker is continuing to clean up the elementary courtyard with a lot of help. It should be beautiful when they are completely done.

First off some community news:

The Village of South Webster will be having our Spring Clean Up Weekend starting next Friday, April 21st. We will have 4 roll off dumpsters for Village residents ONLY. They will be located on Essman Sugarcamp Rd at the Village garage area (old pool). The gate will close at 6pm each night. They will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. NO TIRES, PAINT, OR CHEMICALS WILL BE ALLOWED. Now is the time to clean your basements, garages, yards, and houses!!!! Let's make our community SPARKLE!

If you're available to lend a hand Saturday morning at 9, you can meet us at the Senior Building. We'll be walking around the community and picking up trash. We will have gloves and trash bags available. I encourage any resident, Boy Scout troop, Girl Scout troop, Church youth group, etc. to help keep our community clean! Thank you.

Kindergarten registration will be today and tomorrow. Today it will begin at 9 a.m., 12 p.m. or this evening. On April 21st it will begin at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. only.

Mr. Baker’s courtyard project is progressing nicely. As you can see at the top of this news post, planting has begun in earnest. We received a tip that Lady Bug Nursery has been a big help as well by being able to help within their budget. Rumor is Mr. Baker picked up a load of perennials and they may be planted soon. Keep up the great work.

Well Jeep Nation that is all we have for today. We will have our wrap-up tomorrow sometime during the day. We hope you have a great Thursday and as always…GO JEEPS!
