Seniors and their parents/guardians can begin completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on October 1. They can get a head-start on the process by getting their Federal Student Aid (FSA) IDs setup early by going to https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm.
Both the student and parent/guardian will need separate IDs. If the parent/guardian already has an ID due to being in college or having another child in college, they do not need another ID.
