November 9th Update

Good morning Jeep Nation and happy Thursday. We have a pretty substantial post this morning so let’s get started!

The elementary family night begins this evening at 5:30 p.m. 5th and 6th grade students are expected to be present at this event to perform. Students performing should report at 5:30 p.m.

Our Veterans’ Day assembly will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. There is an open invitation extended to all Veterans, and community members residing in the Bloom-Vernon Local School District. This assembly will be a district wide PK-12 assembly and will honor all veterans with special emphasis placed on those residing in our school district. Veterans and their guests are invited to stay for lunch. We ask that our honored guest start arriving at 9:30 a.m. Any questions can be answered by Rodney Barnett at 740-778-0001.

The All-SOC soccer rankings have been released and many Jeeps made the cut.

Some players also made the District list:

Many Jeeps go on to play collegiate sports at every level and it is always a special occasion. Yesterday another Jeep signed a letter of intent to an NCAA Division I school. Ellie Jo Johnson, daughter of our very own girls basketball coach Kristie “Keek” Johnson, signed on with the Morehead State University Eagles basketball program. Ellie has had this dream since she was a young girl to play Division I basketball and now she has realized it. We all here at the Tech Team wish you luck on this season with the Lady Jeeps and all of your future seasons with the Lady Eagles!
