Good Morning Jeep Nation and Happy Wednesday! Our Tech Team has gone out in the district and received information on many fronts and we are bringing it straight to you. Since there is so much news from our students we are splitting this post into a morning post and afternoon post. School news will be this morning and athletic news will be this afternoon. Let’s get started.
Elementary News:
Miss Hempill is having a lice check for camp this week Friday and Monday of next week and Tim Horton’s camp is next week. Students must be checked before the trip begins. Medicine drop off will be Monday, October 2nd from 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Students will depart Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:30 a.m. One bag is allowed per student. Students will return between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 6th. Please be at the elementary school by 5:00 p.m. to pick up your students.
Jr./Sr. High School News:
Teacher Fundraiser Week will be October 2nd-6th.
Prom candy bar money is due on October 10th. The actual Prom will be held on April 27th and the theme is Neverland.
The results from the change drive are as follows:
$919.07 raised total, Dutiel won the junior high with a whopping $256.36 and Mrs. Haines in the high school raised $57.00.
The UCAN Go to College Night will be held at the SOMC Friends Center October 10th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Students in grades 8-12 and families are invited and admission is free. There will be financial and college advisers and 8 $250 scholarships will be raffled off.
