Good morning Jeep Nation! Happy Friday and we hope you had a great week. We are just bringing some reminders and maybe a heads up on a few things for next week. Let’s get started.
We have softball and baseball games scheduled for this evening vs. Jackson (Friday). Keep checking back for updates on those as it is supposed to rain most of the day and we may have to postpone or cancel those games. We would like to thank Mr. Roberts with providing us with a calendar for next week’s tournament games as well. Softball will play on Monday, and Baseball will play on Tuesday. We will give times and dates on Monday with our normal update.
There will be no track meet for our track team today. The SOC Meet will be run here at South Webster next week on Tuesday and Thursday (May 9th and 11th). The start times for those events will be 4:30 p.m.
Our music department spring concert will be held Sunday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Mays and Mr. Donini ask that students participating be there at 1:30 p.m. for warm-ups. We have been looking at the song list and it looks like it is going to be a very good concert.
Continuing with our music notes, see what we did there, Cabaret will be held in the elementary gym on Saturday, May 13th starting at 7:30 p.m. this performance will highlight our Select Sound members and will be an evening full of solos and ensemble work. This will also be an amazing evening of music. More information coming next week.
Looking farther ahead, the Annual Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, May 27th. Dinner will be served from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Full poster with details is at the top of our post. Thanks to Mr. Barnett for giving us one to keep everyone informed.
