April 4th Update

Good morning Jeep Nation! We are back and here with the news. We apologize for the late update but this is going to be one significant news post.

Track: Drew Dutiel broke the school records for the 100M and 200M events at Oak Hill last night. He ran the 100M in 10.8 seconds best the previous record by .1 seconds and his 200M time was 22.6 seconds. Our Running Jeeps will be in action at Minford on Friday. Meet starts at 4:30 p.m.

Baseball: Our boys will be playing at Clay today (Tuesday), Minford at home tomorrow (Wednesday) and Oak Hill at home on Friday. Games all start at 5:00 p.m.

Softball: Our Lady Jeeps will be playing Clay at home today (Tuesday), Minford at home tomorrow (Wednesday), Green at home on Thursday and Oak Hill at home on Friday. Games all start at 5:00 p.m.

NEWS RELEASE: BLOOM-VERNON HEALTH FAIR

The 27th Annual Bloom-Vernon Community Health Fair will be held on Wednesday,

April 19, 2017, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the South Webster High School gymnasium

More than forty health related agencies and three hospitals are confirmed to participate.  The hospitals include representatives from Southern Ohio Medical Center, King’s Daughters and Our Lady of Bellefonte.

The American Red Cross will also be conducting a “blood drive” from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. You may register to donate blood by contacting Rodney Barnett at 740-778-0001.  Walk-ins will also be accepted.

Participants can receive various tests, screens and information just by simply attending. EKG’s will also be available.   Again this year a mammography bus will be present for those having made prior arrangements.  To register for a mammogram contact Bloom-Vernon nurse, Katie Allard at 740-778-2339.  

If your agency would like to participate or if you would like specific information you are encouraged to contact event coordinator, Mr. Rodney Barnett, at 778-0001, during school hours or any evening at 778-2110.
