Weekly Wrap-up, March 22nd

Good morning Jeep Nation and happy…Wednesday? You may be a little confused, but it is the end of the week, at least for our students. So we are going to do our weekly recap today!

Reminder: There is no school for students tomorrow or Friday due to a waver day and parent/teacher conferences. Conferences will start tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. and will go until 8:00 p.m.

Baseball and Softball start this weekend on Saturday! Our Lady Jeeps will be playing at Peebles starting at 11 a.m. Our boys will be playing at Whiteoak and it looks like a 12 p.m. start time. Both of these contests will be doubleheaders.

The high school has started a positive thought wall. Students are free to take or leave a positive thought on the wall. The idea came to two freshmen girls, Mallory Mullins and Aleigha Jenkins, after seeing it in Channel One News. So far it has been very popular. Great job girls!

Isaiah, one of our Sophomore Tech Team students, has brought us a cool news story to share:

The elementary has three Silent Auction winners and what they are doing with that win is that they are switching places with three teachers.

The three students are Evan who will be switching with Mrs. Witter, our Elementary Physical Education teacher. Carson who will be taking Mr. Davis’ music teaching job for a day and Mrs. Bennett’s art teaching job will be taken by Aubrey. The picture of our teachers and students can be seen below. It will be a great day for all involved.

We hope you have a great rest of your week and weekend Jeep Nation. Don’t forget to come and see your student’s teachers during conferences. If you have any news to report don’t hesitate to let us know and as always…GO JEEPS!
