From Coach Jeremy Newman:

After two hard fought (almost literally at times) games, our Lady Jeeps rode away with one win and one loss on the night vs. the Northwest Lady Mohawks. Our 7th grade endured a physical matchup between two teams that featured a lot of hustle from both teams to come away with 35-22 win over the hostile invaders from outposts such as Rarden and Otway. I'm proud of our girls for playing through adversity with sportsmanship and focus and being more mature as Jr. High students than many of the adults from the other team. As for the 8th grade, the Mohawks must practice the Tomahawk Chop because they hacked and pounded their way to a bruising 52-15 victory over our Lady Jeeps, ending our 3 game winning streak. We are back in action at home vs. Oak Hill on Monday at 5:30pm.
